The service
roastmycv provides AI-generated feedback on CVs and resumes. The feedback is generated by Anthropic’s Claude AI and is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional career advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of employment outcomes. Results may vary based on the content and format of your CV.
Payments and refunds
All payments are one-time and processed through Stripe. Once your analysis has been successfully delivered, the payment is non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from receiving your analysis (e.g., a server error after payment), contact us and we will either deliver your analysis or issue a full refund within 7 business days.

After payment, you receive a one-time-use token that is valid for 24 hours. The token is consumed when your analysis is successfully generated. If the analysis fails due to a server error, your token is not consumed and you can try again.
Your content
You retain full ownership of any CV or job description you upload. By uploading, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process the content solely for the purpose of generating your feedback. We do not store, share, or use your content for any other purpose. Your CV is discarded immediately after analysis.
AI-generated content
The feedback you receive is generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, biases, or subjective opinions. You should use the feedback as one data point among many when improving your CV. We recommend consulting with human professionals for critical career decisions.
Limitations of liability
roastmycv is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any decisions made based on the feedback provided, including but not limited to job applications, career changes, or CV modifications. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
Acceptable use
You may not use roastmycv to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You may not attempt to abuse the payment system, reverse-engineer the service, or use automated tools to submit requests. We reserve the right to refuse service and block users who violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
